Fine Pitch Videowall

The classic video wall is on the hunt for resolution and now achieves pixel densities that make the video wall a serious competitor to the projector or monitor in terms of resolution. At the same time, the video wall has clear advantages. Large constructions for hanging the projectors or empty space for rear projections are no longer necessary, as are the bridges between several displays lined up to form a video wall. In addition, Fine Pitch Videowalls are usually brighter than projectors and monitors. Depending on the application, well thought-out solutions are already available in the Fine Pixel Pitch area.

Exhibition stand construction & rental

In trade show construction, stand space is strictly limited. The customer is usually reluctant to provide much room for elaborate projector installations. However, the well-known coarse resolution videowalls are out of the question for high-quality presentations. This is where Narrow Pixel Pitch Videowalls or Fine Pixel Pitch Videowalls come to the fore.

Long-tested aluminum chassis ensure quick assembly and disassembly, allowing large presentation areas to be created in a short time. Thanks to COB technology (Chip on Board), these video walls are also very robust. The naked LED chip is bonded directly to the printed circuit board. For example, with a pitch of 1.4, a full HD resolution is ready to play on your trade fair stand from a diagonal of 130 inches.

Broadcasting Solutions

For TV studio use, Fine Pixelpitch video walls must meet more specific specifications. With our Narrow Pixel Pitch Broadcasting series we meet the strict TV studio requirements. In addition to fanless operation, front service and a dual power supply with redundant power supply, we also ensure extremely high fail-safety with two image signals fed in opposite directions.

The image processors are usually located in equipment rooms. The image signal is usually transmitted to the video wall in the TV studio via fiber optic cables. Here, for operational safety, the entire video wall is not recorded with an image signal. The video processor converts the incoming signal from real-time graphics programs such as Ross XPression into several image signals.

Fixed installation

For the permanent installation of a Finepitch video wall, we use inline cabling of the individual video wall modules. This completely eliminates the need for rear cabling. The fixed installation allows a finer alignment of the individual modules to each other and guarantees a homogeneous appearance.

The entire setup can be selected for normal operation or redundant control. What differs here is the number of cables routed to the video wall, from one image signal and power cable to several parallel image signals and power supply lines. In both variants, the video wall power and the image signal are passed on internally in the module by placing the individual modules during installation. There is no need for cabling at the rear.

Aufbau und Sicherheit

The video wall consists of several modules in the overall structure. Depending on the pitch, we feed up to 6 modules with an image signal and an opposing backup image signal. Thus, a video wall consisting of 18 modules receives at least 3 separate image signals from the image processor and 3 backup signals from the backup image processor operated in parallel. If one connection fails, the backup signal takes over immediately.

Our video walls are certified and comply with the EMC B standard as well as the guideline values for video walls and the photobiological safety of LEDs according to DIN EN 62471. Our video walls are grouped in category „0“ – no blue light hazard.
